I started early with music and as a kid I used to love recording sounds using my tape recorder. This slowly evolved into making mix tapes and introducing friends to obscure, abstract music that they soon began to love. I have been heavily influenced by late 70's & 80's music as most of my peers and fellow artists like Juan Atkins, Gary Numan, Gary Martin, Carl Craig, Kevin Suanderson, Kenny Larkin, Derek May, Richie Hawtin, John Aquaviva, Drexciya, Aux 88, James Lavelle, Andrew weatherall, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Autechre, FSOL, Coldcut, DJ Food, the Orb, the Shamen & many other genres of music spanning hip hop, trip hop, Drum 'n Bass, Electro, Techno, House, Funk, Jazz, Acid, Trance. Most of my musical tastes were formed in the 90's and I am a purist! If it's popular it's not for me. If it challenges the listener and breaks the boundaries of modern music then you can bet I am on it!

I got my first piece of hardware in the late 90's the exact date eludes me right now. I purchased a Roland MC505 groove box, due to a friend having one which I learned to work and subsequently taught him how to use. I then bought a Roland SP808ex which is a Sampler, 4track mixer with dual Dbeams and built in multi effects. It compliments the MC505 perfectly.

Most of my tracks were written between 2000-2003 and I have been finding it harder and harder to get the time to be as creative as I once was, especially since moving back into the town. I lived way out in the remote wilderness of Scotland for many years working as a Salmon Farmer by day and a Producer by night. I lived music and was in-tune with my creative forces constantly..... now I find it hard! BUT I still live and love for Music! it is my LIFE!
